Terms of Use
Last updated 26 August 2026
These terms are in effect and describe how the app actually works today. They have not had legal review, and they will be revised before Plutara is generally available.
What Plutara is
Plutara is an educational personal-finance tool. You enter information about your money — debts, bills, income, accounts, goals — and Plutara calculates your position and helps you understand your options.
What Plutara is not
Plutara is not a bank, a lender, a broker, or a licensed financial advisor. Nothing it shows you is personalised investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice. For decisions that need a licensed professional, talk to one.
Accuracy
Plutara's calculations run on the information you give it. If a balance is out of date or an APR is wrong, the results will be wrong too. Projections assume today's numbers hold steady; real life does not work that way, so treat them as a direction rather than a promise.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password private and your device secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You can delete your account at any time from Privacy & Data; deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access anyone else's data, probe or disrupt the service, or use Plutara to break the law. Accounts doing so may be suspended.
Subscriptions
Plutara has a free tier and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through the app store you purchased from, and you cancel through that store. Cancelling stops future charges and leaves you on the free tier at the end of the paid period. Your data is not deleted when you downgrade.
Liability
Plutara is provided as-is. Financial decisions are yours. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make using this tool.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that materially affects you, you will be told in the app before the change takes effect.
